Tuesday, February 2, 2016, 12-2PM
Lawrence W. Tyree Library
Join us for the exhibition of “The Candy Shop,” a short film (25min) that exposes the reality of sex trafficking in the United States. Following the film, a 20 minutes presentation will explore several questions. What kind of society is producing so many men willing to buy a woman or child for sex? The presenter will be Richard Tovar, the current president of the Alachua County Coalition Against Human Trafficking. Admission is free and open to the general public.
